Millions Missing From Uganda's Pension Coffers

The Ministry of Finance released over U.S.$7 million for state pensions for the 2018/19 financial year but only just over U.S.$1 million has been accounted for. Some ministries, including agriculture, education, health and the police, are unable to explain what happened to the missing state pension money.
